STAR BREAST IMAGING SYMPOSIUM WITH DR. LASZLO TABAR

Star Imaging and Research Center organized a symposium dedicated to Breast Imaging which was attended by 200 delegates including radiologists, breast specialists, oncosurgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, as well as pathologists from all over India.

The Course Director was the world renowned Dr Lazlo Tabar, and his talks in the symposium covered topics from basic imaging techniques to the latest advances in breast imaging.

Local faculty included Dr. Aparna Atre and Dr. Varsha Hardas, who conducted interactive workshops for the delegates on live workstations, and discussed interesting cases of digital mammography and tomosynthesis/interventional procedure (FNAC, Core –biopsy, stereotactic vacuum assisted biopsy, Vacuum assisted resection).
